Key Responsibilities

•Manage customer service and problem resolution by monitoring service quality and driving quality campaigns and initiatives.
•Oversee operations across corporate action processes, including resource allocation, prioritization, cross-training, and process standardization.
•Establish control measures/checkpoints to scrutinize exceptions/errors, prevent operational losses, and support internal audit and staff feedback mechanisms.
•Drive operational risk assessment and risk mitigating plans, ensure business continuity plan support, and manage contingency requirements and operational recovery measures.
•Develop and motivate staff through performance management, training, personal development plans, and band progression while achieving productivity, quality, and SLA targets.

Key Requirements

•Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal/external audit points and external regulator issues.
•Implement the Group Compliance Policy applicable to your role in coordination with the Compliance Department.
•Continually reassess operational risks in line with changing market conditions, legal/regulatory requirements, procedures, restructures, and impacts of new technology.
•Set an example by implementing customer feedback mechanisms and monitoring service quality to uphold customer service standards.
•Plan and allocate resources across corporate actions markets to ensure robust cross-training and smoothen erratic workflows/volumes.
