Job Summary

Lead clinical and instructional strategy for grant-based CME business development in assigned therapeutic areas. Serve as the single point of contact for clinical literature, guidelines, therapies, and key opinion leaders, and develop grant-seeking strategies to align CME plans with funding opportunities and educational needs. Create proposal materials, manage relationships with medical subject matter experts, and for funded projects develop analysis plans and publish educational impact research results.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the single point of contact in assigned therapeutic areas for clinical insights, literature, guidelines, and key opinion leaders.
•Develop grant-seeking strategies based on identified knowledge, competency, and performance gaps.
•Partner on CME plans aligned with potential funding opportunities and current educational needs using Medscape and public data.
•Create materials to support CME grant proposals and use tools/templates for proposal development.
•For funded projects, partner with content development, create data analysis plans, and publish educational impact results (posters, conference presentations, journal articles).

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Advanced degree in life sciences (MD, Pharm.D, PhD, or M.S.).
•At least 5 years’ experience developing clinical education and/or business development strategies.
•At least 3 years’ experience as a scientific lead or medical director in medical education or pharmaceutical medical affairs.
•At least 2 years’ experience supporting grant-based funding efforts (preferred).
•Knowledge of CME industry regulations and requirements; strong written and verbal communication skills.
