Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee billing portfolios to ensure accurate day-to-day billing focused on revenue recognition inputs and timely month-end close.
  • •Develop and maintain billing policies, SOPs, and quality standards; resolve discrepancies and escalations with Finance Systems, BD, and Revenue.
  • •Build billing dashboards, reporting, and KPIs in collaboration with Finance Systems to improve billing health and proactively identify issues.
  • •Partner with Product and Engineering to scope and deliver billing system enhancements, integrations, and automation to reduce manual workload and improve scalability.
  • •Enforce internal controls, audit requirements, and contractual billing terms while mentoring junior team members and scaling billing operations to support growth.

Salary: CAD 95,000 - 100,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •5+ years of experience in Billing Operations, Order-to-Cash, or Accounts Receivable in technology, ecommerce, marketplace, or subscription/SaaS environments.
  • •2+ years leading cross-functional billing or quote-to-cash projects as an individual contributor, from requirements through UAT and launch.
  • •Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ and at least one billing platform (Zuora, Chargebee, or Stripe Billing) plus one ERP (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle).
  • •Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and basic SQL for reconciliations and data analysis, with knowledge of billing controls, SOX, and revenue considerations (ASC 606).
