Key Responsibilities

  • •Teach Primary PE within the British curriculum, delivering engaging high-quality lessons
  • •Plan and deliver a broad and balanced PE curriculum focused on physical literacy and lifelong activity
  • •Inspire and motivate students of all abilities to develop skills, confidence, and enjoyment of sport
  • •Contribute to the wider sporting and co-curricular life of the school
  • •Support leadership opportunities such as Curriculum Leadership, Head of Year, ECA Coordination, or Head of Careers (for suitably qualified candidates)

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Primary Education, or a related subject
  • •A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent)
  • •Experience teaching PE within the Primary phase and preferably within the British curriculum
  • •Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to delivering engaging, high-quality PE and sporting experiences
  • •Experience planning and delivering a broad and balanced PE curriculum that supports physical literacy and lifelong activity
