Key Responsibilities

  • •Exercise judgment to determine liability by gathering and analyzing relevant facts and using applicable procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) and 6+ months of agricultural experience for Crop Adjuster I; OR high school diploma (or equivalent) and 4+ years of agricultural or crop insurance industry experience for Crop Claims Specialist.
  • •Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program (CAPP) certification obtained (Crop Adjuster I within 180 days; Crop Claims Specialist within 180 days).
  • •Reliable personal transportation and the ability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • •Ability to perform physical requirements including walking agricultural fields up to 3 miles, climbing bins up to 25 feet, lifting 25–50 lbs, and working outdoors in varying conditions.
  • •Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with strong organization, multitasking, and prioritization. Capture and analyze claim facts to determine liability and coverage.
