Key Responsibilities

  • •Build security into WRITER’s AI platform by running threat modeling with product teams and shaping security decisions from day one.
  • •Own and evolve the application security program, including SAST/DAST in CI/CD, security code reviews, and automation to prevent vulnerabilities reaching production.
  • •Partner with engineering teams to define secure coding standards, reusable security patterns, and developer enablement for shipping safely.
  • •Design and implement security controls for data pipelines, model training environments, and customer-facing AI agents.
  • •Lead security assessments and penetration testing across applications, AI services, and APIs; remediate vulnerabilities at scale.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in application security engineering, securing large-scale production systems.
  • •Experience with threat modeling and designing secure architectures for production applications.
  • •Hands-on knowledge of security tools and methodologies such as SAST/DAST, vulnerability management, and security testing frameworks/DevSecOps practices.
  • •Technical expertise in at least two programming languages (Python, Java, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript) with the ability to read and review code across languages.
