Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the execution of Alo’s safety strategy across the distribution center network, ensuring consistent standards while accounting for site-specific needs.
  • •Develop, implement, and continuously improve scalable safety programs, standards, processes, and systems in partnership with the Director of Safety & Operations Training.
  • •Lead, coach, and develop safety leaders across the network, establishing expectations, priorities, and accountability for safety performance.
  • •Maintain strong field presence to assess risk, coach leaders, identify improvement opportunities, and support operational execution.
  • •Oversee incident reporting and investigations, root-cause analysis, escalation, documentation, corrective actions, and safety performance reporting/leading-lagging indicators.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
  • •7–10+ years of progressive occupational health and safety experience, preferably in distribution, warehousing, fulfillment, logistics, manufacturing, or similar high-volume environments.
  • •3–5+ years of people leadership experience leading and developing safety professionals and/or multi-site teams.
  • •Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and experience conducting incident investigations, root-cause analyses, risk assessments, audits, inspections, and corrective action management.
  • •Ability to analyze safety data and translate findings into actionable strategies; ability and willingness to travel 50% or more.
