Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in processing Irish and UK payroll to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • •Review payroll data, identify discrepancies, and ensure accurate payroll postings to the general ledger.
  • •Support compliance with local payroll tax, Social Insurance, Income Tax, National Insurance, pensions, and statutory leave payments for Ireland and UK.
  • •Monitor, escalate, and help resolve payroll issues and discrepancies, including responding to routine payroll inquiries.
  • •Assist with payroll system updates, testing/enhancements, wage reporting, tax filing, and regulatory year-end activities; maintain documentation and contribute to process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •1 to 3+ years of experience in Ireland and ideally UK payroll processing or a related field.
  • •Basic understanding of Ireland and UK payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • •Experience with SAP HCM IPP or similar payroll systems preferred.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent payroll experience/education (e.g., iPass or CIPP).
  • •Strong attention to detail, customer service orientation, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
