Key Responsibilities

  • •Build relationships with site personnel and conduct regular safety walks and safety interactions to ensure compliance with EHS policies.
  • •Contribute to developing and improving EHS standards, implementing actions to enhance overall site performance.
  • •Supervise disposal of controlled waste to meet required legal requirements.
  • •Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and codes of practice to advise on and resolve EHS issues.
  • •Support development and compliance of improvement plans and Sites IPPC Permit responsibilities, including reviewing and updating safety procedures and conducting audit compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous experience in a continuous flow manufacturing environment (chemical, oil & gas, or pharmaceutical) within an EHS function and at a COMAH regulated site.
  • •NEBOSH certification or diploma (desirable).
  • •Experience conducting risk assessments, JSA’s, and audits.
  • •Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with site personnel.
  • •Good verbal and written communication skills to deliver training and presentations on site.
