Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute scheduled preventive and day-to-day maintenance, corrective maintenance, and major repairs for EOT and Jib crane equipment to minimize downtime.
  • •Troubleshoot mechanical equipment breakdowns and assist in identifying root causes for corrective maintenance.
  • •Attend to mechanical maintenance issues during breakdowns in material handling and communicate abnormalities to superiors for planning and rectification.
  • •Inspect equipment to meet engineering principles and safety regulations during maintenance work.
  • •Follow mechanical maintenance standards and comply with health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and practices.

Key Requirements

  • •3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in a steel plant.
  • •Technical knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance for EOT and Jib cranes.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues for EOT and Jib cranes, supporting root-cause corrective action.
  • •Understanding of engineering drawings and hydraulic circuits.
  • •ITI in Mechanical Fitter trade (professional training preferred).
