Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with the Shoe Design Team on research and conceptual development for repeat patterns, prints, engineered designs, embroideries and general surface design applications including graphics, branding motifs and CAD renderings
  • •Work across materials including fabric and leather and produce freehand and CAD sketching, collages and painted artwork
  • •Translate concepts into production-ready artwork and undertake trend, material and colour research including trade fairs
  • •Develop finishes and fabrics, prepare technical sheets and update collection overview documents
  • •Attend design/merchandising meetings and contribute to design presentations and ad-hoc projects as required

Key Requirements

  • •Print/Design degree or equivalent
  • •Strong embroidery/textile print/surface design experience with European factories (ideally Italy)
  • •Expert CAD skills across Adobe suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate or equivalent) and production artwork
  • •Excellent communication skills (in person, over the phone and email)
  • •Understanding of footwear construction and manufacturing processes is a bonus
