Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform hydrologic analyses and hydraulic modeling for watersheds, channels, and drainage/collection networks using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS (1D/2D), SWMM/InfoWorks, and SewerGEMS/StormGEMS.
  • •Develop designs for stormwater drainage and sanitary/wastewater systems, including conveyance, detention/retention, pump stations, and related appurtenances.
  • •Prepare engineering drawings, details, and profiles using Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation, and support BIM coordination/model federation and clash detection.
  • •Produce engineering calculations, reports, quantity take-offs, and technical specifications aligned to client and AECOM standards.
  • •Integrate sustainability and resilience (LID/SuDS, BMPs, water quality controls, erosion/sediment control) and support QA/QC by responding to review comments and RFIs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Hydraulics, Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, or related field.
  • •At least 2 years of relevant experience (internships/co-ops/applied academic projects considered).
  • •Fundamental knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics for collection, conveyance, storage, and discharge systems.
  • •Proficiency with Civil 3D and/or ArcGIS for plans, profiles, surfaces, and spatial analysis.
  • •Working knowledge of H&H software such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS (1D/2D preferred), and SWMM.
