Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement and enforce the site Safety Plan in accordance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, and Army regulations.
  • •Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards related to material handling, equipment movement, and personnel operations.
  • •Provide safety orientations and recurring training for personnel and subcontractors/temporary labor, including PPE, forklift/equipment operation, LOTO, and incident reporting.
  • •Lead investigations of accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; report findings and corrective actions to the Project Manager and COR and maintain incident logs.
  • •Perform safety audits and job hazard analyses (JHAs), track safety KPIs, and support government inspections while enforcing hazard control measures.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of safety experience on government, military, or industrial logistics sites.
  • •Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, EM 385-1-1, DA PAM 385-10, and Army site safety practices.
  • •Conduct safety orientations and ensure training on PPE, forklift/equipment operation, Lockout/Tagout, and incident reporting.
  • •Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and receive a favorable background check and drug testing results.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic English proficiency (reading and writing).
