Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce and monitor counterparty credit risk risk-weighted assets (RWA) metrics and reporting.
  • •Investigate and explain period-over-period capital movements and variances using capital calculation drivers.
  • •Support month-end and quarter-end close routines, including end-to-end review and ad-hoc analytical reporting.
  • •Build and maintain partner relationships within ECM and workstreams (technology, QA, capital risk, audit) to resolve capital questions and provide data.
  • •Identify continuous improvement opportunities for existing routines by leveraging new tools or emerging technology, and support regulatory/strategic fixes using complex logic and large data sets.

Key Requirements

  • •7-9 years of experience in a relevant role within a financial institution, with prior experience in accounting or financial services.
  • •Strong understanding of Basel capital requirements and financials, preferably in a US bank setting.
  • •Must have exposure to SACCR RWA and capital calculations.
  • •Knowledge of derivative products and risk management, along with strong control mindset.
  • •Technical capability with SQL or Python (or AI/ML), plus strong Excel skills and clear verbal/written communication.
