Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and evolve the overall security strategy, roadmap, and risk posture as the company scales.
  • •Build and grow the security function and serve as executive-level owner of security in enterprise customer conversations and security reviews.
  • •Own and mature compliance posture (SOC 2 Type II and beyond), including driving audits, policy development, vendor risk management, and control operations.
  • •Provide technical direction for application security, cloud security (AWS/GCP), infrastructure hardening, and incident response including tabletop exercises.
  • •Own IT operations, including identity and access management (SSO/MDM), endpoint security, onboarding/offboarding, and SaaS security posture.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 300,000 - 375,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in security with progressively increasing scope, including experience owning a security program (not just executing within one).
  • •Experience as a first or early security hire at a high-growth startup, ideally SaaS/B2B.
  • •Hands-on technical depth in application security, cloud security, and incident response.
  • •Experience owning SOC 2 Type II compliance and driving compliance programs; ISO 27001 and GDPR experience is a plus.
  • •Experience leading and developing a small team and serving as the face of security with enterprise customers.
