Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on bid and vendor processes, including prequalification, bid assessment, bid leveling, and bid interviews; make final recommendations.
  • •Manage estimating by developing full project estimates, reviewing junior team estimates, presenting estimates, and providing value engineering and risk assessments.
  • •Manage cost reporting and forecasting by setting reporting schedules, reviewing and presenting reports, maintaining a commercial risk register, and hosting periodic meetings.
  • •Run cost control by reviewing payment applications, recommending contractor entitlements, assessing change order requests, and supporting dispute prevention/management/resolution.
  • •Manage invoicing, perform final accounting and post-contract audits/account close outs, and conduct post-contract reviews to capture lessons learned and procedures for project handover.

Salary: USD 100,000 - 135,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •3-5 years of relevant experience in a cost management role in the construction industry.
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium or large-sized building construction, renovation, retrofit, or capital improvement projects.
  • •RICS accredited or actively working towards RICS is valuable.
  • •Strong communication skills and good knowledge of construction industry technical matters like procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
