Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive and review work orders to determine tools, equipment, time, manpower, parts, and supplies needed.
  • •Read blueprints, schematics (including electrical), wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
  • •Disassemble equipment, replace faulty/worn parts, and test major subsystems/components using specialized equipment.
  • •Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, including installing new equipment and utilities (electrical, water, gas, or drain lines).
  • •Fabricate replacement parts (including welding, cutting, or sheet metal work) and maintain activity records and logs.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED plus 1+ years of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing; or 4 years of direct experience.
  • •Vocational/technical diploma or associate degree from a technical maintenance or vocational school (preferred).
  • •Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact with team personnel and outside contractors.
  • •Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
  • •Ability to read and follow oral and written instructions, including work orders, daily reports, and equipment manuals.
