Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on Carvana’s Class 8 fleet.
  • •Diagnose complex electrical, engine, and transmission problems using diagnostic tools and software.
  • •Handle system repairs for aftertreatment systems (DEF/emissions), including regens and filter changes.
  • •Maintain accurate records and collaborate to optimize vehicle performance and minimize downtime.
  • •Follow safety protocols to ensure the fleet remains DOT compliant.

Key Requirements

  • •6 months+ experience working on Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers or similar equipment.
  • •Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems.
  • •Proficiency using diagnostic software and a laptop for manuals.
  • •A minimum of two ASE certifications within the first 6 months of employment (ASE T-series valued).
  • •Valid Driver’s License with a clean record and ability to perform physical maintenance tasks (lifting, bending, etc.).
