Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled backend engineer to join a client’s Search team as a freelance contributor. You’ll design, implement, and optimize search algorithms, work with Kotlin (primary) and Go/Python, and leverage Solr/ElasticSearch. You’ll collaborate across stakeholders, explore ML approaches, and focus on high-speed, low-latency search that scales across FinTech, B2B software, and e-commerce projects.

•Experiment with novel machine learning approaches to push the boundaries of search capabilities.
•Collaborate closely with the product management team, ensuring alignment to construct the optimal product that resonates with and benefits users.
