Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist customers’ DBA teams by gathering data, investigating issues, and providing detailed analyses via email, chat, or voice
  • •Conduct screen-sharing sessions to help customers quickly navigate and resolve production-impacting issues
  • •Author blog posts, answer questions on forums, create customer-facing KB articles, and host webinars for the open-source community
  • •Work remotely from anywhere with a stable internet connection
  • •Travel occasionally for team meetings, conferences, or customer visits

Key Requirements

  • •PostgreSQL knowledge and experience with PostgreSQL tools and contributed modules; strong understanding of performance tuning, query optimization and index tuning
  • •Experience with backup solutions such as pg_basebackup, pgBackRest, WAL-G and Point-in-Time-Recovery
  • •Experience with high availability solutions (replication, routers, proxies) and zero-downtime procedures
  • •Demonstrable experience administering Linux-based systems and methodical problem-solving capabilities
  • •Willingness to travel occasionally and communicate with customers in English; Kubernetes knowledge is a plus
