Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and prioritize equipment deployment, haulage schedules, ore processing, and other mining activities to meet production targets.
  • •Monitor real-time dispatch and mine planning data to track equipment location, availability, and utilization.
  • •Optimize truck and equipment allocation, routing, and sequencing to minimize downtime and idle time and improve productivity.
  • •Collaborate with mine planners, geologists, and production supervisors to develop production plans and schedules, and communicate updates to operators and drivers.
  • •Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and inefficiencies, inspect equipment for readiness and compliance, and troubleshoot operational issues with maintenance teams while implementing safety protocols.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
  • •5 to 8 years of experience in mining operations, preferably dispatch or production planning.
  • •Proficiency in mine dispatch systems, fleet management software, and mine planning software (e.g., Modular Mining DISPATCH, Wenco, Minemax).
  • •Strong understanding of mining operations, equipment capabilities, and production processes.
  • •Knowledge of surface and underground mining methods, plus analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
