Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team of software engineers to deliver high-impact results for Graph Search and AI search platform capabilities.
  • •Partner with product and engineering leaders to set vision, strategy, and adoption path for search, natural-language search, and Smart Tables as platform primitives.
  • •Collaborate with Knowledge Foundations and the broader CEF organization to align roadmaps across Graph Search, Entity Graph, Data Dictionary, Unified Data Architecture, and Communications Platform.
  • •Own operational excellence of a Tier 1 platform, including 24x7 on-call, observability, SLOs, capacity/performance headroom, and infrastructure-level validation.
  • •Hire, coach, and develop engineers while fostering inclusive culture and raising rigor around measurable impact using evidence-backed prioritization.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience building and operating highly reliable platform systems for large-scale, business-critical use cases with 24x7 on-call responsibilities and low-latency services.
  • •Strong technical acumen in distributed systems, able to connect implementation details with broader architectural strategy and maintain strong engineering standards.
  • •Experience building and leading inclusive teams, attracting and retaining talent, and fostering a culture of accountability and ownership.
  • •Strong strategic thinking with a platform mindset to define and articulate a clear product and technical vision connected to organizational objectives.
  • •Fluency with AI-assisted engineering, including safe adoption practices such as review, testing, change-risk management, and engineering quality.
