Key Responsibilities

  • •Define Alan’s angle on key regulatory requirements and turn complex constraints into business advantages with autonomy.
  • •Own Alan’s insurance compliance posture: translate regulatory obligations into operational tools, lead inspection responses, and report compliance risks to board committees.
  • •Act as Alan’s legal voice in strategic business conversations, including major RFP responses and complex negotiations.
  • •Ensure product excellence by meeting regulatory requirements within products while improving member experience and managing complaints.
  • •Oversee insurance compliance across markets and lead legal/regulatory aspects of international expansion, building internal legal frameworks and an automation roadmap.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 10 years of insurance law and/or social protection law experience at a top insurance law firm or an international insurance company.
  • •Fluency in French and professional English (written and spoken).
  • •In-depth commercial experience negotiating or litigating complex health and disability insurance deals.
  • •Broad familiarity with insurance regulatory frameworks including ACPR guidelines and insurance distribution rules.
  • •Experience on international markets and drafting in English; bonus experience at a regulatory authority.
