Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead privacy implementation and regulatory change programs for North America and LATAM.
  • •Partner with business and engineering teams to design and launch privacy-focused products for the region.
  • •Advise on privacy aspects of platform partnerships and arrangements with partner banks and financial institutions, including contractual terms.
  • •Provide strategic privacy guidance and support for Wise’s OCC license application and related regulatory approvals.
  • •Oversee privacy compliance for regional entities, support audits, and report to oversight committees and entity boards.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 195,000 - 249,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 8 years privacy experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house.
  • •Strong, in-depth knowledge of privacy, AI, and data security laws in North America and working knowledge in LATAM.
  • •Hands-on experience with GLBA and FCRA.
  • •Experience handling privacy inquiries, complaints, and incidents.
  • •Experience in privacy by design and data protection impact assessments, plus drafting/negotiating privacy-related contracts and building compliance/auditing frameworks.
