Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide support for individual pupils and groups inside and outside the classroom to help them participate in school activities and support social, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
  • •Be proactive regarding health and safety and support the implementation of individual education programmes while helping monitor progress.
  • •Support pupils with additional support needs, including emotional and behavioural difficulties, and help develop social skills.
  • •Assist class teachers with maintaining pupil records, preparing and presenting displays of pupils’ work, and supporting teaching tasks (e.g., photocopying).
  • •Deliver specific academic support by giving group instruction as prescribed, monitoring pupils’ work, keeping pupils on task, checking attendance, supervising pupils, and promoting positive behaviour.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be a UAE National.
  • •Have a minimum attested secondary school certificate/diploma/degree.
  • •Minimum 1 year of experience as a Classroom Assistant or Inclusion Assistant.
  • •Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • •A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check or police check.
