Key Responsibilities

  • •Project lead work across the design, delivery and tender phases for multi-year/packaged work for turnkey projects
  • •Ensure timely and quality of delivery for project and structural engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards – and in alignment with schedules and budgets
  • •Handle ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients
  • •Manage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally
  • •Provide sound technical/delivery guidance for the team
  • •Mentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers
  • •Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • •5-8 years of industry experience in the Property/Building space within consulting
  • •Commercial experience in Australia on local medium/large engineering projects
  • •Proven track record delivering multiple concurrent projects across sectors such as commercial, retail, defence, health and education
  • •Strong proficiency in all-round structural engineering design including post-tensioned concrete
