Job Summary

Lead ZOLL’s cloud engineering efforts as an expert across infrastructure, security, and compliance, with a primary focus on the FedRAMP authorization initiative. Establish observability, logging, access control models, and encryption/key management, while coordinating with SRE, security, compliance, and leadership to meet regulatory readiness milestones.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead cloud architecture and platform reliability efforts across infrastructure, security engineering, and compliance to drive organizational objectives.
•Own automated and orchestrated management of SaaS platforms and cloud services, including AWS and GCP development, maintenance, automation, and orchestration.
•Define and enforce CI/CD, source control, and software release patterns and practices across the organization.
•Serve as the primary cloud engineering lead for the FedRAMP authorization initiative, including NIST 800-53 control documentation and FedRAMP boundary, system, and compliance workstreams.
•Establish observability, logging, audit strategy, access control models, encryption/key management, and lead ongoing continuous monitoring and evidence packaging activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 165,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
•7+ years developing production-level applications or automated deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code in a public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
•Expert-level experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible).
•Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and release management processes at scale.
•Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53 and the FedRAMP authorization process, including SSP documentation, continuous monitoring, and POA&M management.
