Key Responsibilities

  • •Support preparation of Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and EIA Transport Scoping and Chapters.
  • •Work at the forefront of Vision-led planning on development planning opportunities.
  • •Produce high-quality analysis and associated outputs within time and budget, working with regional and national leads.
  • •Provide support to graduates and apprentices and contribute to innovation to grow AECOM’s presence in the regional transport market.
  • •Support bids to win work with existing and new clients, manage time to meet deadlines, and assist with in-person stakeholder facilitation.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree/Masters qualification in an analytical subject (e.g., engineering, geography, mathematics, economics, spatial planning) or equivalent experience.
  • •Membership of, or work toward membership of, a relevant chartered professional institution such as the CIHT or TPS.
  • •Experience in development planning with demonstrable technical capabilities, including literacy, numeracy, and communication.
  • •An analytical background and broad understanding of development planning methods and best-practice techniques.
  • •Excellent written and oral communication skills and an inquisitive mindset, with ability to work in a consultancy environment and engage stakeholders.
