Job Summary

Drive supplier performance improvements to enhance on-time delivery of parts by identifying bottleneck and capacity constraints and developing mitigation plans. Lead project work using leading-indicator data such as RM availability and on-order, WIP tracking, quality notification closures, and sub-tier supplier tracking. Partner with multiple departments and Supplier Development Leaders, participate in customer forums, and manage process improvement risks while working primarily from home with significant on-site supplier travel in the San Diego County, CA or Mexico area.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify bottleneck/capacity constraints and develop improvement and mitigation plans to improve supplier on-time delivery.
•Drive end-to-end improvement initiatives using leading-indicator data (RM availability/on order, WIP tracking, quality notification closures, and sub-tier tracking).
•Develop a strong understanding of supplier products and operational processes and work to remove delivery barriers.
•Lead and manage process improvement projects, prioritizing work and identifying/mitigating project risks.
•Participate in Commodity Days/EMMs/SEMO and co-lead with customers and Supplier Development Leaders on supplier performance topics.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of prior delivery assurance, supply chain, or related experience (or an advanced degree with 2 years experience).
•Reside in the San Diego County, CA or Mexico area.
•U.S. citizenship is required to access information under the program/contract.
•Experience in operations and supply chain management or related field.
•Proficiency with SAP and Qlik/Power BI (preferred).
