Key Responsibilities

•Read and interpret technical data packages, specifications, models and drawings for optical assemblies
•Optical system testing (MTF, line of sight, transmission, encircled energy, etc.)
•Cost estimating including process times, materials, and engineering effort to meet customer requirements
•Define, design, source, and commission fixtures, tools, and equipment for realizing product assembly & test specifications
•Produce detailed documentation of assembly processes and train operators on new projects

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 65,000 - 107,800 annually

Key Requirements

•Master’s or Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering Physics, Industrial, Manufacturing, Aerospace or Optical Engineering, Physics or related fields
•Minimum 3 years professional experience in a manufacturing technical support role
•Strong competency with MS Office
•Strong technical writing ability and communication skills
•Adaptable, innovative and problem solver
