Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead preparation of detailed electrical cost estimates for hyperscale data center projects, including distribution, substations, UPS, generators, switchgear, busway, grounding, and lighting.
  • •Perform and oversee comprehensive electrical quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and BIM models.
  • •Develop, validate, and challenge labor, material, and equipment pricing models aligned to budgets and delivery strategies.
  • •Review and normalize electrical contractor and subcontractor bids to identify scope gaps, cost risks, and commercial exposure.
  • •Drive value engineering and design optioneering, evaluating alternative electrical systems and methods while maintaining redundancy, reliability, and code compliance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 170,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • •7+ years of experience in electrical estimating, strongly preferred in data center, mission-critical, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • •Advanced knowledge of power distribution, backup generation, UPS systems, electrical codes, and labor productivity.
  • •Experience estimating high-density and hyperscale electrical systems.
  • •Proficiency with estimating/takeoff tools (e.g., Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, Bluebeam) and strong ability to interpret BIM-based information.
