Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble and test landing gear components (e.g., shock struts) per drawings and acceptance test procedures.
  • •Perform replacements, repairs, retrofits of MLG, NLG, linkages, actuators, and LRU’s per assembly process sheets and engineering instructions.
  • •Conduct electrical/hydraulic functional tests per engineering instructions and acceptance test procedures.
  • •Support TPM, LEAN, 5S, and FOD prevention in a safe, team-oriented environment.
  • •Support quality initiatives using operator-self-verification (OSV) and perform other assigned production duties.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent work experience plus a recognized and accredited college/trade program.
  • •Previous landing gear assembly experience or 3+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing/aerospace environment.
  • •Understanding of hydraulic and electrical control systems and use of test equipment.
  • •Ability to follow assembly instructions/blueprints and follow strict safety practices.
  • •Ability to operate an overhead crane safely and eligibility to work in Canada (ITAR and CCGP requirements).
