Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain data governance systems for data ownership, lineage, and quality monitoring powering risk decisions.
  • •Design continuous monitoring and validation for control assurance, including trigger validation, drift detection, coverage analysis, and control health scoring.
  • •Implement audit trails, change history tracking, and explainability tooling to enable regulatory evidence generation.
  • •Design scalable high-throughput solutions for large data volumes across multiple distinct risk domains.
  • •Work with the Risk API team to integrate governance and assurance capabilities into the core platform via shared data contracts.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience building high-throughput, data-intensive backend systems in Java.
  • •Hands-on expertise with Kafka, SQL, and NoSQL databases, with strong scale and reliability design.
  • •Experience with data quality frameworks, pipeline orchestration, or lineage tracking to ensure data trustworthiness at scale.
  • •Ability to reason about complex distributed systems, identify failure modes, and design robust, operationally simple solutions.
  • •Comfort operating with ambiguity and driving delivery end-to-end with cross-team collaboration.
