Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out component thermal analysis simulations for thermal mapping of the engine
  • •Carry out steady and transient thermal & secondary flows assessment in gas turbine engine components
  • •Carry out sizing and design studies for the oil / lubrication system, seals, sump, bearings & pumps
  • •Develop numerical and experimental methods for method verification and validation
  • •Review the designs, simulations and generate testing guidelines

Key Requirements

  • •Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering degree or related field
  • •Strong background in gas turbine propulsion, heat transfer, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
  • •Fluent in English
  • •Experience: 5-15 years or more
  • •Technical skills with At least one: Ansys Workbench or similar; FEA/CFD; 1D flow software such as Flomaster and Amesim; programming in C, MATLAB/Simulink or similar
