Key Responsibilities

•Carry out component thermal analysis simulations for thermal mapping of the engine
•Carry out steady and transient thermal & secondary flows assessment in gas turbine engine components
•Carry out sizing and design studies for the oil / lubrication system, seals, sump, bearings & pumps
•Develop numerical and experimental methods for method verification and validation
•Review the designs, simulations and generate testing guidelines

Key Requirements

•Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering degree or related field
•Strong background in gas turbine propulsion, heat transfer, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
•Fluent in English
•Experience: 5-15 years or more
•Technical skills with At least one: Ansys Workbench or similar; FEA/CFD; 1D flow software such as Flomaster and Amesim; programming in C, MATLAB/Simulink or similar
