Assist field technicians with installation and repairs of HVAC/environmental control systems, using refrigeration theory, pipe fitting, and structural layouts. Key Responsibilities

•Assist field technicians in installation and repair of environmental control systems, including preventive maintenance and inspections at customer locations.
•Coordinate with supervising field technicians/project managers and customers to understand requirements and synchronize on-site installation and repairs.
•Use blueprints or engineering specifications and hand tools to diagnose and repair units.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.
•Support end-to-end testing, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects, including flexibility for overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, or a certificate of completion from an accredited technical school is required; prefer 2+ years of HVAC experience and technical school/formal training.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency using hand-held devices (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations in the previous 3 years.
•Must be able to safely operate a vehicle with a seat belt and wear required PPE (helmet, safety goggles, fall protection harness, safety boots).
•Must be physically able to perform job duties including lifting up to 10 lbs regularly, up to 40 lbs frequently, and occasionally more than 40 lbs, plus safely use ladders and access confined areas.
