Job Summary

Serve as a BYD technical expert within workshop operations, providing advanced diagnostic support to service advisors and technicians. Engage with customers to verify vehicle symptoms, conduct inspections and road tests, and communicate findings and repair solutions. Lead warranty repair management by ensuring process compliance, validating approval reports, and coordinating supporting documentation. Maintain diagnostic tools, uphold HSSE and SOP compliance, and train/mentor technicians to improve first-time-fix outcomes and workshop efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Engage with customers to understand and verify advanced vehicle concerns, including conducting inspections and road tests when required.
•Diagnose issues and communicate findings and repair solutions clearly to customers to support first-time-fix outcomes.
•Manage warranty repair processes by ensuring compliance with principal/manufacturer guidelines and validating warranty approval reports.
•Ensure diagnostic tools and equipment are available, operational, and updated; perform audits to maintain reliability and efficiency.
•Ensure HSSE, 5S, and SOP compliance, and provide coaching and on-the-job training to workshop technicians through technical mentoring.

Key Requirements

•Advanced vehicle diagnostic and troubleshooting expertise.
•Minimum 5 years of experience in an automotive dealership workshop environment.
•At least 2 years in a similar Technical Diagnostic role, or a minimum of 3 years as a Diagnostic Master Technician.
•Degree or high school diploma in Automotive Technology (or related field), with IMI (or equivalent) EV/PHEV certification preferred.
•Valid UAE driving license (mandatory) and excellent English communication; Arabic is highly preferred.
