Job Summary

Deliver construction equipment safely and on schedule for contractors and communities. Operate your vehicle in compliance with state and federal transportation laws, maneuver trucks and trailers for loading/unloading, and assist with freight handling while following safety procedures. Use EquipmentShare’s technology and proprietary T3 platform to access delivery details and fleet information, maintain shipping paperwork, and perform routine truck service tasks such as basic checks and reporting maintenance issues.

Job Function: Transportation & Fleet Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follow loading crew signals.
•Load/unload goods and materials using specialized equipment when warranted; maintain invoices and shipping paperwork and deliver documentation when routes are complete.
•Facilitate routine truck service (e.g., checking oil, water, gasoline, and air) and report maintenance malfunctions to the Shipping Supervisor.

Key Requirements

•Must hold either a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight to be operated.
•Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state DOT regulations.
•Must pass a DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
•Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
•Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds at a time.
