Key Responsibilities

  • •Run the platform’s social media accounts by creating and publishing content at least daily, engaging with comments, and testing content formats.
  • •Manage the Reddit community by welcoming contributors, encouraging useful discussions, answering routine questions, and surfacing recurring issues and feedback to the team.
  • •Recruit contributors via online channels (e.g., Reddit, Craigslist, Handshake, campus groups) while adapting messaging and following each community’s posting rules.
  • •Find and test creative growth tactics, turning successful experiments into repeatable practices.
  • •Build monitoring and reporting to track channel performance and measure which activities bring qualified contributors to complete approved work.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 30 - 50 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience creating content and running social accounts, with examples of what you tried, what worked, and what you learned.
  • •Experience recruiting or mobilizing people, such as growing student clubs, organizing volunteers, or driving participation in events or projects.
  • •Ability to generate and test unconventional contributor recruitment ideas without a large budget.
  • •Strong writing and good judgment in public conversations, with consistent follow-through.
  • •Comfort with spreadsheets and basic analytics, and willingness to learn tools for monitoring, publishing, and reporting.
