Key Responsibilities

  • •Set and socialize the product/platform architecture strategy, maintaining ADRs and tech radars.
  • •Lead at-scale architecture for multi-tenant isolation, data models/schemas, indexing/OLAP, and event-driven systems.
  • •Evolve the platform by standardizing service meshes, API gateways, policy-as-code, and multi-cloud deployment patterns.
  • •Embed operational excellence via SRE practices (SLOs, error budgets, incident learning), capacity planning, and chaos testing.
  • •Lead security and privacy architecture, including threat models, data classification, encryption/key management, and SBOM/SLSA controls.

Key Requirements

  • •20+ years of product/platform architecture experience for large-scale, cloud-native SaaS with recent Principal/Distinguished scope leading end-to-end product decisions and migrations across multi-cloud.
  • •Deep cloud and Kubernetes expertise (EKS/AKS/GKE), including service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), observability (Prometheus/Grafana), and control plane/operator patterns.
  • •Data platform and streaming expertise, including Kafka/Flink/Spark, OLAP/columnar systems (Druid, ClickHouse), NoSQL (Cassandra), and search (Elasticsearch/OpenSearch).
  • •Microservices and integration design at enterprise scale (API gateways, event-driven design, SOA/EAI using Apache Camel/Mule/WSO2/JBoss Fuse).
  • •Production AI/ML and agentic AI architecture using ML pipelines (MLflow/Kubeflow/Airflow) and LLM frameworks (OpenAI APIs, LLaMA, LangChain/LangGraph) with governance, evals, and fallbacks.
