Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in designing and developing new features and solutions across identity services and platform components.
  • •Maintain and evolve existing components while ensuring quality, reliability, and continuous improvement of authorization/authentication flows.
  • •Transform business requirements into efficient and scalable solutions and ensure rigorous testing and review of developments.
  • •Evolve the Authentication/Authorization microservices architecture by refining existing services for smooth use across the Farfetch ecosystem.
  • •Monitor, maintain, and support existing services, tools, and libraries, collaborating with Senior/Principal Engineers and other teams to define technical roadmap and solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficiency in object-oriented languages such as C# and .NET, with strong OOP principles, design patterns, and data structures.
  • •Knowledge of Authorization/Authentication, including OAuth and OpenID.
  • •Strong focus on code quality and understanding of testing strategies to improve product quality.
  • •Experience with NoSQL and/or SQL databases, and interest in distributed, large-scale systems managing real-time identities.
  • •Experience working with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies is a plus; proficient written and spoken English.
