Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement safety assessment strategies for small-molecule and biologics drug discovery projects with an AI-first approach.
  • •Design screening cascades and mechanistic experiments in a data-driven manner, and develop SAR understanding for toxicology liabilities.
  • •Define regulatory safety assessment packages and author toxicology sections of regulatory documents.
  • •Partner with ML colleagues to build predictive toxicology capabilities within the drug design platform and improve predictive toxicology models.
  • •Maintain CRO relationships to ensure high-quality, timely data generation and oversee data generation campaigns; mentor junior team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Ph.D. in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biology, or DVM/MD with relevant experience.
  • •Board Certification.
  • •Extensive professional experience in a senior toxicology role across multiple therapy areas in biotech or pharma.
  • •Demonstrated experience filing successful INDs/CTAs for both small molecules and biologics.
  • •Deep understanding of global regulatory guidelines for safety assessment, with strong cross-functional communication and influencing skills.
