Job Summary

Join a multidisciplinary team in Terrace, BC to design and deliver structural solutions for heavy industrial and mining facilities. You will perform structural analysis and design of steel and concrete structures, develop foundation designs, prepare construction documentation, conduct site reviews, and collaborate with clients and contractors to ensure safe, code-compliant, on-time project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures supporting heavy industrial and mining facilities
•Develop and review foundation system designs to ensure long-term performance and safety
•Produce structural drawings, calculations, and construction documentation of high quality
•Visit client sites to conduct construction reviews, field verifications, and design assessments
•Collaborate with clients, internal design partners, and contractors to support project delivery and prepare technical reports and proposals

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in British Columbia
•5–8 years of structural engineering design experience, preferably in consulting for industrial/mining sectors
•Proficiency with structural analysis/design software such as STAAD‑PRO, S‑Frame, SAP2000, SAFE; familiarity with AutoCAD; Revit Structure is an asset
•Knowledge of CSA design standards and National/Provincial Building Codes
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to travel to project sites as required
