Key Responsibilities

  • •Process USA bi-weekly and/or semi-monthly and Canada bi-weekly payrolls from start to finish, including hours, overtime, retro pay, deductions/contributions, bonus/commission payouts, leave of absence payments, and garnishments.
  • •Investigate and resolve payroll inquiries/discrepancies via timely communications using a case tracking system.
  • •Evaluate, calculate, and process off-cycle payments as needed and submit for approval.
  • •Partner with business and HR functions to ensure timely and accurate entry of payroll transactions.
  • •Validate new hire/rehire setup and taxation; handle multi-state tax allocation setup, calculations, corrections, overpayment/repayment calculations, and W-2 corrections.

Key Requirements

  • •4-year college degree in a relevant discipline (accounting, finance, business administration, etc.).
  • •3-5 years of an equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
  • •3+ years of high volume full-cycle in-house multi-state payroll processing experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and wage laws for the USA.
