Key Responsibilities

  • •Maximize performance of new defect metrology products through a deep understanding of customer use-cases.
  • •Collaborate closely with leading-edge chip manufacturing customers on application and performance.
  • •Detect, measure, and classify nanometer-size defects using advanced imaging and image processing algorithms.
  • •Contribute to product development roadmap through specification definition and performance validation at higher expertise levels.
  • •Provide informal guidance to new team members and solve problems within guidelines and policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Sound fundamentals of high-NA DUV imaging and/or SEM, including light-matter/electron-matter interaction.
  • •Be open to frequent travel (up to 70%) to leading semiconductor chip manufacturing fabs overseas.
  • •Have lab/fab hands-on experience in semiconductor fabrication with layer-wise knowledge of material, process tech, and defectivity.
  • •Be highly detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • •Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
