Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete the FleeTec Academy paid training program (classroom training in Indianapolis plus hands-on mentorship in your market).
  • •Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs at customers’ locations as a mobile technician.
  • •Work with a lead technician to develop skills during mentorship and apply training during the field phase.
  • •Operate onsite maintenance work using assigned mobile equipment/vehicle and support from the fleet service model.
  • •Comply with DOT-regulated requirements including background screening, physical/DOT medical requirements, and ongoing driving qualification.

Key Requirements

  • •Desire to start a career as a Diesel & Trailer Technician and become a Mobile Mechanic.
  • •Ability and willingness to study hard and dedicate ten (10) weeks away from home for training.
  • •Technical aptitude and a passion for fixing vehicles.
  • •High-school diploma or equivalent preferred; successful completion of DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical.
  • •Be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license (able to obtain and maintain a Driver Qualification File).
