Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical assistance and guidance for due diligence, investigation, remediation, impact assessment, design, and construction support for utility-scale substation station P&C work.
  • •Determine methods for collecting, compiling, and analyzing site and engineering data for procurement package development, IFR/IFC design review, and standards/regulation compliance.
  • •Review and advise on third-party design documents, procurement lists, and project plans; provide recommendations for components and field equipment applications.
  • •Develop electrical calculations and deliverables including loads, equipment sizing, one-line diagrams, and protective relaying; prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • •Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and quality for assigned projects, and guide entry-level/junior engineers with QA/QC adherence.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • •5 to 7 years of post-education experience as an electrical engineer providing design deliverables for large capital projects.
  • •Proficient knowledge of substation P&C engineering principles, practices, and design/build project work for 12 kV to 345 kV substations.
  • •Working knowledge of relevant engineering and electrical construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
  • •Ability to make electrical engineering calculations and technical determinations using plans, specifications, and applicable regulations.
