Job Summary

Lead strategic finance for Plaid’s Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) organization, owning product-level revenue and gross margin forecasting, R&D investment planning, and capital allocation frameworks. Partner with Engineering, Product, Design, GTM, Data, Accounting, and the Executive team to optimize resource allocation and improve performance visibility. Report to the CFO, guide quarterly Board narratives, and build a high-performing EPD Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

•Build product-level revenue and gross margin forecasts for near/mid-term and long-term planning 3–5 years out.
•Partner with the CPO and CTO on capital deployment, including headcount planning, capacity modeling, and scenario planning to optimize COGS and opex.
•Own EPD performance tracking and reporting, partnering with Data on data hygiene and decision-ready metrics granularity.
•Act as a connective partner across EPD and the broader business, especially between Product and GTM, providing counsel and analytical support.
•Own quarterly Board reporting for the Product narrative and define the future-state of the EPD Finance team, hiring and leading it.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 210,000 - 390,000 annually
