Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee cost control activities, ensuring project costs are tracked, reported, and controlled against the approved budget.
  • •Develop and maintain cost control systems, including cost reports, forecasts, and change management procedures.
  • •Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to review cost data, identify discrepancies, and recommend actions to mitigate cost overruns.
  • •Provide monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management, including earned value analysis (EVA) and cost variance.
  • •Analyze cost and financial risks to support decisions, proposals, budgets, and change orders; review contractor invoices for legitimacy and contract compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of cost control or cost engineering experience in construction, infrastructure, or a similar industry.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, finance, accounting, or a related technical field.
  • •Strong knowledge of project cost management including forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control procedures.
  • •Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, identifying cost discrepancies, and driving corrective actions.
  • •Proficiency with cost control software and financial reporting tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Excel, SAP).
