Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement material flow strategies from receipt to lineside, including reverse logistics as needed, using value stream mapping for end-to-end optimization.
  • •Create conceptual and detailed material flow and storage layouts to meet targeted inventory levels, leveraging space capacity models for adequate storage solutions.
  • •Develop materials management resource plans (labor and equipment) using lean principles, including time studies and procedures to track improvement.
  • •Design cost-effective, sustainable packaging solutions and rack flow, coordinating with external vendors and internal teams to build right-sized packaging fleets.
  • •Use data analysis tools to assess performance metrics and support decision-making, while conducting risk assessments, audits, and training to maintain safety and compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
  • •1+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (internship and school projects qualify).
  • •Experience working directly on material flow engineering solutions.
  • •Extensive analytical skills for performing detailed data analysis.
  • •Knowledge of supply chain planning and warehousing requirements.
