Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform routine and advanced maintenance on BEUMER ICS components, including diverters, scanners, and third-party interface equipment.
  • •Diagnose and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, and control subsystems using structured troubleshooting.
  • •Respond to system interruptions (carrier jams, sensor faults, control logic errors) by executing resets and performing root cause analysis.
  • •Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance per BEUMER standards and OEM documentation, and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
  • •Interface with BEUMER SAC and PLC systems, inspect system health with diagnostic tools/performance dashboards, and support upgrades/retrofits with engineering and OEM teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • •2–5 years of hands-on experience in automated material handling systems, preferably in airport or logistics environments.
  • •Must be eligible to obtain and maintain airside security clearance.
  • •Deep understanding of mechatronic systems, including sensors, actuators, motors, and controls.
  • •Proficiency with BEUMER SAC systems and PLC programming (Siemens preferred), plus fault diagnostics and industrial communication protocols.
